Message from Thomas County Baptist Association

Friends in Christ,

Don’t forget to mark Saturday, September 25th on your calendar. We will be conducting a “Share Jesus without Fear” workshop led by evangelist Bill Fay. The workshop will be hosted by Dawson Street Baptist Church and will begin at 9:00 and finish at lunchtime.  There is no cost whatsoever to those attending, so don’t let money dissuade you from attending. There will be an opportunity to help defray the cost of the workshop for those desiring to do so, but it is entirely voluntary.  Please don’t let cost stop you from coming.  Sharing Jesus with lost people is definitely more important than money.  If you cannot come on Saturday morning, Bill will be leading a conference again on Sunday at First Newark Baptist Church.  Please contact First Newark directly for additional information.

Sincerely Yours in Christ,

Dr. William Blosch, Director of Missions

“Thank you so much to our Gatlin Creek Road Baptist Church family for your phone calls, visits,  financial help, and most of all your prayers during Berkeley’s birth and 13 weeks in the hospital. She still has more surgeries to go through and will need medical care from now on but God has worked so many miracles already in her life and the lives of her family members. We know this is because He saw how precious she was to her family, friends, and church family. We pray His blessings on all of you and on our church as a whole.”

Thank you again,

Tim, Margaret Hobbs and family of Berkely Dawne Porter
