Copying material for church use:  Please use the Minolta copier in the Sunday School office to make copies for church use.  If you must use Toshiba copier/printer, please see a member of the staff or leave your copying request for Sharon in the church office.

Quarterly Conference & Deacon Elections:  will be held on Sunday, August 23rd at 6:00 p.m.  We will vote on 4 of the following men who have accepted the nomination to serve as deacons:  Pascal Autrey, Bruce Coffee, Stephen Coffee, David Hobbs, Tim Hobbs, Sr. and Russell Tinsley.

Children’s Church:  We need people to help with Children’s Church for the new church year.  If you are willing to help, please sign up on the list in the Fellowship Hall or see Sheilah Smith.  Thank you for your prayerful consideration.

5th Sunday Fellowship:  will be on Sunday, August 30th.  There will be Sunday School at 9:45 followed by a joint worship service at 11:00.  We will then meet at Remington Park where we will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch.  The meat, buns and drinks will be provided.  Please bring side dishes and desserts.  A church-wide softball game will follow lunch.

Homecoming Announcement:  We are collecting pictures both past and present for Homecoming.  Please bring your pictures and place them in the box inside the Lydia’s Lounge area.  You may also email your pictures to Sheilah Smith at the following email address:  ausmiths@att.net.

Wedding Announcement:  You are invited to attend the wedding of Scott Wayne Hairston and Salena Kaye Sloan.  The wedding will be held at Rose City Church of God off the 84 Bypass on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 4:00 p.m.

Deacon Nominations:  A box has been placed in the foyer and will be there for June and July.  Please place your nominations for deacons in this box by the end of July.

Guitars Needed:  We are needing guitars to train the next generation of Worship Leaders.  The guitars need to be in decent, playable condition.  If you have a guitar that you would like to lend, donae or if you would like to invest in the future of these young Worship Leaders and purchase a

guitar, please see Richard Hughes.

Youth Outreach Week:  will be held during the week of July 13-17.  If you would like to participate in this week of ministry in our community, please see David Riggs to get a Registration & Parental Consent Form.
