Teachers needed for the 2011-12 AWANA program.

Two teachers are needed in each class:

• Cubbies (4 and 5 year olds)
• Trek (6th-8th grades).

Millie Ann Scott was born on May 24, at 8:38 pm.  She weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz.

The new series of study for the youth group, “Se7en,” begins June 1st.

Tim and Margaret Hobbs would like to invite their church family to their  Vow Renewal service on June 3rd, at 7 pm.  There will be a reception following.

Guitar lessons will be offered on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm, beginning in June.  If you are interested, please see Richard Hughes.

Children’s Committee will be hosting a yard sale on Saturday, May 14th, at GCBC, from 8 am until noon, to raise money for Camp Winshape.  Donations for the yard sale can be placed in the unoccupied room behind the 30’s Sunday School class and, if possible, priced accordingly.  If you have any questions, please see Lindsay Clay.

Worship Committee is looking for additional help for Children’s Worship on Sunday mornings.  If you can commit for four consecutive weeks each quarter to assist with crowd control, art and recreational activities, contact Sheilah Smith or Richard Hughes.

On May 11th and 12th, Union Grove Baptist Church, 2293 Old Pelham Rd., Pelham, Ga, will have a semi-trailer available to collect supplies for tornado victims. Supplies needed:  bottled water, sports drinks, blankets, non-perishable snacks, baby diapers and formula, etc.  Union Grove also needs volunteers to help receive, sort & load supplies on the 12th.
